R. Patrick White

Pat White’s practice is focused on Employment, Insurance Coverage, and Personal Injury Defense. Pat has also developed expertise in defending automobile dealerships in consumer and regulatory litigation in the State and Federal Courts.

Before returning to private practice in 2002, Pat served as Vice President, Claims Legal Management, for the Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company. In this capacity, he managed a Staff Counsel operation of over 200 attorneys located in 41 cities in the United States.

In his 47-year career as an attorney, Pat has tried over 120 cases to verdict in both State and Federal Courts. At this point in his career, Pat has changed his focus to providing advice and counsel to employers and insurance carriers with the goal of litigation avoidance.

In the employment area, Pat offers supervisor training focusing on developing leadership skills and proper management of employees. Well-trained supervisors enhance employee engagement and reduce the risk of administrative charges.

Pat is licensed to practice in Georgia and is admitted in all Georgia state and federal courts.

Susan L. White

Certified Paralegal and Accounting Manager

Susan began her career as a legal secretary in 1976 in Marietta, Georgia. She has worked in civil litigation in the areas of insurance defense, employment, products liability, personal injury, real estate, collections and workers’ compensation appeals.

Susan received her Paralegal Certificate from NALS in 2013 and served in various positions on the state and national level for several years.

For the past 8 years Susan has supported her husband, Patrick White, in various roles in his law firm. She continues to enjoy her Paralegal work while adding the new responsibility of Accounting Manager.

When she is not working, Susan loves spending time with her family and friends, volunteering at her church, and caring for her two sweet Westies, Bentley and Bella.

Sarah Schellhase

Certified Paralegal and Office Manager

After spending her early career in Commercial and Residential Real Estate, Sarah came to realize how much she enjoyed the legal side of the business. She enrolled in the Paralegal education program at Emory University and received her certification in May, 2023.

Sarah is able to leverage her experience in the fast-paced and deadline-driven industry of Real Estate to manage the Firm’s case load against high-pressure deadlines. Sarah enjoys making connections with and providing support to the Firm’s clients while working alongside her parents.

When she is not working, Sarah enjoys traveling with friends, trying new restaurants with her husband, John, and playing with her rescue puppy, Lucky.
