Insurance Coverage
Kershaw White provides coverage advice to insurers across the U.S. and beyond. We have extensive experience advising clients with respect to complex insurance coverage issues in connection with a variety of high-stakes claims, including with respect to commercial general liability, commercial automobile, professional liability, employment practices liability, directors and officers, and commercial property policies. We also have decades of collective experience representing insurers facing bad faith or other extracontractual claims. When coverage disputes result in litigation, we aggressively represent our insurance clients in mediation, arbitration, and the state and federal courts.
Both Pat White and Jeff Kershaw formerly served as in-house counsel to carriers, both domestically and through the Lloyd’s market in London. That experience greatly informs their work, including with respect to the firm’s consistent focus on clients’ business needs, prompt and accurate reporting, and the aggressive pursuit of early claim resolution.

We have counseled and represented intra-state and interstate motor carriers of persons and property, drivers, owner operators, shippers, freight forwarders and other transportation-related entities throughout the State of Georgia. We assist clients with issues involving initial accident investigation and claims, personal injury or wrongful death claims, insurance coverage disputes, intermodal contract disputes, federal and state regulatory issues, environmental losses and employment and hiring practices.
